I AM LOOKMAI
The Lookmai Project's introduction film, featuring Somon, a renowned transgender adult content creator, embodies the project's essence of empowerment and stereotype-breaking. The dialogue, rich in metaphor and symbolism, likens Somon's journey to the intricate process of making lace. It poignantly highlights the complexity, value, and strength inherent in the lives of transgender sex workers. This film serves not just as an introduction to the project, but as a powerful statement against societal misconceptions, giving a voice to a frequently misunderstood and silenced community, thereby fostering a deeper understanding and respect for their experiences and contributions.

Our Worth, Our Lives: Lookmai's Message
The Lookmai Project is crafting a short film dedicated to the Transgender Day of Remembrance with a particular focus on sex workers—a group all too often overlooked by society. In our belief, film serves as the most potent medium for conveying messages and allowing others to step into their shoes, to feel what they feel, and to understand the challenges they face. Through this artistic endeavor, we aim to raise awareness, honoring the lives we've lost and shedding light on the experiences of a community society frequently ignores.
